Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you take insurance?
    No. We work for you and your child, not an insurance company. This allows much longer visits with us, convenient phone, email and Telehealth communication, and greater access to your provider.
  • Why do I need additional insurance?
    All of your basic primary pediatric care is covered in our membership. And we are great at what we do, but we cannot control all aspects of your child’s health. Traditional health insurance through an employer, self-pay, or government funded Medicaid program is strongly recommended for outside healthcare costs. These costs include, but are not limited to, medication, X-ray, therapy, specialist visits, surgery, or hospitalizations.
  • Can I submit my membership fee to my health insurance?
    You cannot submit your monthly membership fee for reimbursement, but we will provide you with a superbill with the appropriate medical codes for all visits, labs done, screening tests and so on. You can submit this to your insurance company. Reimbursement would depend on your out-of-network provider contract. Each insurance plan sets their prices and we have no control over their reimbursement to you.
  • Can I use my HSA or Flex Spending for my membership?
    Short answer is yes. Although every HSA and Flex Spending plan has different rules, so we suggest you contact your plan to confirm this. Please reach out to us via email, info@TailoredPedMed.com, or phone 603.547.9557, and we can assist you with the codes that the membership will be billed under.
  • Is vaccinating my child required?
    We strongly believe in science and do our best to protect all children from suffering and death. We are not a good fit for you if you do not intend to provide your child with protection against vaccine-preventable diseases. We do recommend the CDC vaccine schedule, as we have followed for our own children. That being said, we are happy to work with your individual needs, as this is a confusing and scary world, and no two children are the same. We love talking about the science of vaccines, how to minimize adjuvants and toxins for child, and how to come up with a schedule that fits your family.
  • How do I set up a meeting?
    We are happy to do an initial Zoom meeting or in-person meeting, depending on your preference. Email us your availability and we will set something up. Info@tailoredpedmed.com
  • What if my child is already a patient of yours?
    If you are, or have been, a patient of Dr. Kelly or Sherry’s, and you have questions about our model or want to discuss our membership fee, feel free to email us at info@Tailoredpedmed.com, and we can set up a time to talk or email answers to any questions you may have.
  • How do I just sign up to be a patient?
    You can sign up by filling out the New Patient form on our website under Resources, Patient Forms. You can also email the practice info@tailoredpedmed.com.
  • Will I get a monthly bill?
    As we aim to simplify as much as possible for you. We use recurring billing, so your debit or credit card can be billed on the 1st or 15th of the month. No need to remember another bill!
  • Is there a contract?
    Although we hope you don’t, you can cancel your membership at any time, with 30 days notice.
